Holzer Heritage Foundation held a Board meeting to discuss current and upcoming projects to benefit Holzer Health System. “Board input is vital as their knowledge of this community and desire to participate is critical to our success,” stated Brent Saunders, Chairman of the Board, Holzer Health System.
Foundation projects discussed included the very successful Holzer Therapy and Wellness Center and newly established Holzer in Lights Fund. Board members approved the decision to utilize a portion of the funds from the recent Celebrity Dinner and Auction to purchase new sleeper chairs for patient rooms. Plans are underway for the next Celebrity Dinner and Auction to be held September 22, 2018. There was also discussion concerning the need to upgrade television service in patient rooms.

Established in 1977 and overseen by a Board of Directors composed of local community citizens, Holzer Heritage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that secures charitable gifts for Holzer Health System. All charitable gifts to any entity within the System are tax deductible as allowed by current law and may be made through Holzer Heritage Foundation.
