Sandra Mayes with the Gallipolis Junior Women’s Club presented a check to the Gallipolis City Pool Improvement Committee, represented by Mindy Caldwell and Bradie Angell, during its regular monthly meeting Monday evening. The organization donated $1,421, which was raised with its annual Wine Raffle. The Gallipolis City Pool Improvement Committee is currently raising funds to replace the filters at the pool, which are the pool’s original filters. While they have been holding various fundraisers, they are still in need of approximately $30,000 to complete the project. For more information, you can follow the Gallipolis City Pool Improvement Committee on Facebook or call (740) 818-9471 or (740) 649-5659 for information on donating to the committee.
