The river is forecasted to crest at 46.4 feet by 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

Point Pleasant, W.Va.

The river is forecasted to crest at 41 feet by 7 a.m. on Tuesday.

Ohio River level predictions at the Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam and Point Pleasant, W.Va. continue to drop, according to the National Weather Service’s River Forecast.

As of the forecast this morning:

Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam

The river is expected to crest at 47.7 feet by 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Point Pleasant, W.Va.

The river is expected to crest at 42.9 feet by 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Ohio River level predictions have changed since Thursday at both the Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam and Point Pleasant, W.Va.

As of the latest forecast this morning:

Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam

The river is expected to crest at 49.3 feet, below the minor flood stage level of 50 feet, by 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Point Pleasant, W.Va.

The river is expected to crest at 43.4 feet, below the moderate flood stage level of 44 feet, by 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service’s River Forecast issued at 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, the Ohio River is expected to exceed moderate flood stage at the Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam by Monday morning and exceed major flood stage at Pt. Pleasant by Monday afternoon.

Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam

As of 12:49 a.m. this morning, the river was projected to reach minor flood stage of 50 feet by Sunday evening and continue to rise past the moderate flood stage of 52 feet and crest at 53.5 feet by 1 a.m. Tuesday morning. For reference, the River crested at 52.1 feet during last weekend’s flooding event.

Point Pleasant, W.Va.

As of 12:49 a.m. this morning, the river was projected to reach minor flood stage of 40 feet by Saturday afternoon, moderate flood stage of 44 feet by Sunday afternoon, major flood stage of 48 feet by Monday afternoon and crest at 48.5 feet early Tuesday morning. For reference, the River crested at 47.5 feet during last weekend’s flooding event.
