GALLIPOLIS, Ohio – Southern Ohio’s premier 3-on-3 full court outdoor basketball tournament will take place on July 15-16, 2017 along the streets surrounding Gallipolis City Park.

Participants will receive t-shirts, and trophies for divisional winners. There will be a dunk contest, with the winner taking home $1,000. The top men’s court champion will take home $2,500.

Court size is 50 feet by 50 feet, there will be officials for every game, with 15 minute halves and a 5-minute halftime. There is a maximum of six players per roster. There will be boys, girls, men and women’s divisions in many different age groups, including a seniors’ division and an eight and under division, with play assistance from the coaches.

Cost is $200 per team and teams must wear the same color shirts. There is a three-game guarantee and there will be referees for every game. There are double elimination brackets, as well as a “Potty Bowl” for each division, so that each team gets a significant amount of court time. The “Potty Bowl” is for teams that lose their first two games. Those teams will play against other teams that also lose their first two games. The winner of that “mini tournament” will be the “Potty Bowl Champion”.
